Amendment of Decision post Expiry date
The expiry date of an appeal before the Tribunal lies for 60 days from the date of the order appealed against. However, the Tribunal can entertain an appeal and pass an order after the expiry date on certain grounds:
- If the Tribunal is satisfied that the civil servant was prevented by sufficient cause for preferring the appeal within the expiry period.
- In case of arithmetical or clerical mistakes in decision or orders, or in case of errors arising therein from any accidental slip or omission can at any time be corrected by the Tribunal either of its own motion or on the application of any of the parties
